Good Friendships Count

Apr 9, 2018   //   by Tina McCrea   //   Blog  //  No Comments

The best thing in life is relationships.  It is hard to be a loner in a world like this.  We need each other and this is why God created us differently in order for us to function in this world.  Being a good friend is not just about having a good time with others, it’s also about how willing you are to put your friends first or point out when they are doing something you do not agree with. Part of being a good friend is about being willing to listen rather than just talk. This takes time and effort but if you can make time just to listen to others and respect what they have to say, then it’s a sign of a good friend. Do your friends often turn to you first to share a problem or seek help? Are you willing to make yourself available to friends at short notice and welcome them if they turn up at your door? If a friend tells you something personal are you good at keeping it in confidence, or do you go and tell everyone at the first opportunity? People need to know that they can trust a friend with important information and you will only store up trouble for yourself if you are seen as unreliable. A good friend is both trustworthy and reliable.

A lot of people are hurting today in the Christendom because they cannot find a friend to trust.  There has been a lot of betrayal and Jesus had a betrayer very close to him.  All He had to do was to recognize who he was and Jesus never gave him an attitude.  Jesus said, “I tell you the truth, one of you will betray me-one who is eating with me.” (Mark 14:18 NIV).  There are also those friends and people who are very close to you who will say and promise that I will always be there for you and when you get into trouble you won’t find them. You will then discover that you have been alone all this way despite having many people around you.  It happened in Jesus time with His disciples when His time to be crucified was at hand.  Peter said to Jesus “Even if I have to die with you, I will never disown you, and all the others said the same.” As we all know Peter denied that he was with Jesus. Do you give your time to the people around you even if you know they don’t like you? This is an opportunity to check our Attitude. Is it like Jesus?

Jesus began calling His disciples friends rather than servants because He had entrusted them with everything He had heard from His Father.  Jesus trusted the disciples to use the information for the good of His Father’s Kingdom. (John 15:15) We have to continue asking ourselves these questions:

  • If Jesus is our friend, can we say that we are His friends?
  • Do we listen to Him or do we only want Him to listen to us?
  • Do we really want to know what’s on His heart or do we only want to tell Him what’s on ours?

To be a friend of Jesus, we need to listen to what He wants us to know.

Jesus is our Best Friend and there is no one like Him. He is with us every moment of everyday we just need to be aware and recognize His presence with us in little things .

PRESSING-IN INTO THE INFINITE LOVE

Apr 9, 2018   //   by Tina McCrea   //   Blog  //  No Comments

One of the days this week, I just woke up with an old song that says, “He has turned my mourning into dancing” You have turned my sorrow into joy and it also says, “I feel the sweetness of His love, Piercing my darkness, I see the bright and morning sun, as it ushers in His joyful gladness.” As I kept singing this song I felt like the enemy was being pushed back from stealing my joy that morning and power was being released on my life to be victorious. I have seen that the enemy is always after our joy and when he removes that joy from us, he comes with frustrations and we become miserable all day. He brings worries of this life which we can’t resolve and he makes us doubt the Word
and make it unfruitful.

Jesus has made it clear that entering the Kingdom of God is not passive. The Kingdom must be deliberately sought, pressed into, taken hold of. Though sometimes we might feel overwhelmed, overtaken but we must always know that the Lord of all Hosts is on our side. We are not alone and He gives us the strength to fight.

The Gospels of Matthew and Luke have passages of scripture to support:

  1. Seeking First His Kingdom (Matthew 6:24, 33 (AMP) 24 No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon [money, possessions, fame, status, or whatever is valued more than the Lord].  33  But first and most importantly seek (aim at, strive after) His kingdom and His righteousness [His way of doing and being right—the attitude and character of God], and all these things will be given to you also.
  2. Asking, seeking, knocking (Matthew 7:7-8) 7  Ask and keep on asking and it will be given to you; seek and keep on seeking and you will find; knock and keep on knocking and the door will be opened to you. 8  For everyone who keeps on asking receives, and he who keeps on seeking finds, and to him who keeps on knocking, it will be opened.
  3. Forcing one’s way into the Kingdom (Matthew 11:12) 12 From the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violent assault, and violent men seize it by force [as a precious prize]. Luke 16:16 16  The Law and the [writings of the] Prophets were proclaimed until John; since then the gospel of the kingdom of God has been and continues to be preached, and everyone tries forcefully to go into it.

I really like these scriptures because they teach us that we are to do something, we need to be active when it’s about the Kingdom of God. I am trying to say that when we woke up we are constantly being destructed with everyday life and we lose focus. Oh my Lord! I just don’t know how many times I have lost focus..but thanks be to our God and Savior who keeps bringing us back into focus. The woman with the issue of blood had a determination inside of her to reach out to the hem of Jesus’ garment, she did not care about the crowds, and that determination became the Spiritual Force that made her touch Jesus. What is it that you are going through?

Press-In! Have a Positive Attitude and just forget about past failures, Press-In, into the infinite love of God and you will receive unspeakable joy, deliverance, healing, restoration, revival, salvation, hope and a future. Jesus is waiting for you.  If you let Him come into your life this season as we remember of His death and resurrection.

Trusting God To The Point of Being Immovable, Unshakeable, And Unchangable

Mar 15, 2018   //   by Tina McCrea   //   Blog  //  1 Comment

Are you sick and tired of Christians who tell you just have faith, everything will work out for your own good and yet they are not rooted and grounded by faith in God? They don’t trust God in anything but they tell you have faith in God.

My beloved brothers and sisters let us be real with life.  This is not only my challenge but it is sometimes difficult to TRUST God when everything is falling apart. How can you TRUST God when you have not been feeling well for a long time?  How can you Trust God when you don’t have a job and bill collectors are calling you? How can you TRUST God when you don’t understand every experience in your life that has caused you pain or grief?  How can you TRUST God when the journey is rough, scary and difficult?

Psalm 112:7 (AMP) “He will not fear bad news; His heart is steadfast, trusting (confidently relying on and believing) in the LORD. Lord help my heart to be steadfast!”

What I now know through this experience is that it’s only God who can carry you through it all.  I was reminded of the word to Zerubbabel who was in a trying situation and needed encouragement from God;

Zechariah 4:6 (AMP) “not by might (of thy own), nor by power but by my Spirit’ says, the Lord Almighty.”

Every day we are faced with different situations but I am now reminding myself that if I try it on my own it will not work. I need God in everything I need in this life. I can’t be alone and I have to believe that as a child of God, I am not alone for He promised never to leave me.

I have been going through some difficult, very hard seasons in my life and it has been a very big challenge for me to stay firmly fixed in my belief in Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.  It was like I am being dismantled emotionally, physically and even financially. I also felt some heaviness upon me that really slowed me down and sabotaged me emotionally and physically. My brain was having problems in comprehending anything that I tried to read. I thank God I didn’t lose my mind!

I kept calling on God, and also made the conscious decision to rely on the certainty of God’s redemptive power to heal and to deliver me.  I discovered that once you are rooted in that reality, nothing can shake you, and nothing can ever change God or the reality of his saving grace.  Once you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, you will never be moved again. God disapproves of our human efforts, we have to hold on to His word and TRUST him with all our hearts.

Enlightening & Empowering You During Domestic Violence Awareness Month

Oct 30, 2016   //   by Tina McCrea   //   Blog  //  Comments Off on Enlightening & Empowering You During Domestic Violence Awareness Month

 october-dometic-violence-awareness-month

I am so grateful for a month set aside to raise the awareness of domestic violence across our land.  Just writing that first sentence had me pause and ask, “How did we get here?”  How did we as a people who longed for the “Leave It To Beaver” and “Happy Days” families back in the day get to a place in time where it is common place to hear a man call a woman all kinds of names in a song, or slap a woman on prime time TV and it not cause us to lift our hand and say, “No thank you.  I’m not buying that today.”?

It has been far too long since my last blog but I could not let this month pass by without lifting up a voice to empower that young lady or man who is in the trenches of turmoil and thinks there is no way out and nobody to tell.

love-shouldnt-hurt

I hope by now you realize that Love, real Love, shouldn’t hurt.  Don’t believe the lie that this is what love is and that you may have deserved it or did something to trigger this level of response from someone who promised to love you.  Doing more cleaning around the house is not going to clean up a person’s heart.   Jesus Love You!  Jesus Loves You unconditionally.  Even if you make a mistake Jesus LOVES YOU!  In your abusive situation Jesus LOVES YOU.  It’s time for YOU to love YOU enough to get help.  Remove the lie from the center of your belief and step into real love.  Accept God’s Love as a breath of fresh air today.

Acts 3:19Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)

19 So repent (change your mind and purpose); turn around and return [to God], that your sins may be erased (blotted out, wiped clean), that times of refreshing (of recovering from the effects of heat, of [a]reviving with fresh air) may come from the presence of the Lord;

Take in a fresh start by changing your way of thinking.  Breaking Free starts in the inner self. The mind.  You can move out before you change addresses.  Move out of the state of self-loathing, self-pity, and self-hatred.  Receive God’s forgiveness spoken of in Acts 3:19 and LOVE again.  Love YOU.   It feels shaking at first but the more you say, “I’m okay today” each day gets easier and easier.  Pray and ask God to help you.  Oh Yes!  You can ask him for help even if you didn’t ask him about getting into the relationship in the first place. Look at the scripture above.  It instructs you how to RETURN to GOD.  It’s okay and your sins will be wiped clean.  Hallelujah!  Your significance and purpose in life is found through faith in Jesus Christ not in a human being.  I pray that this blog helps you experience times of refreshing and relieves you from the shame that has held you hostage for so long.

no-longer-ahamed

Restoring your relationship with God and regaining fresh perspective about yourself will empower you to realize that you are not the blame for being beaten and you no longer have to feel ashamed.  Speak out.  Ask your company Human Resources Department if they have an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) that can help you.  It is usually a paid benefit and it’s confidential.  Tell your pastor or a spiritual adviser or simply call the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-SAFE (7233) available 24/7 in over 170 languages. All calls are confidential and anonymous.

There’s so much that I have to say about this topic that I wrote a book about it titled “Empowering Truth: Real Stories About Overcoming Domestic Violence & Abuse”.  This book opens up a dialogue for real freedom and truth. This is a life-changing story that will take you to the next level and teach you how to come out of domestic violence and abuse and never to return again!”  If you are a man or a woman who needs to Break Free, Stay Free, and BE Free, you need to get this book.  Notice that I said, man or woman.  Men are not going to tell that they are going through domestic violence and abuse because of the stigma and shame associated with it.  Men can use these same principles in their situation.  YES, you can!  Remove the lie out of the center of what you believe and put the Empowering Truth of God’s Holy Word there.

Prayer With A Purpose – Purification of The Heart

Jun 16, 2015   //   by Tina McCrea   //   Blog  //  Comments Off on Prayer With A Purpose – Purification of The Heart

National-HIV-Testing-Day

Love Yourself Get Tested

During the month of June our ministry has been providing teachings on purification and sexual wholeness to assist people who are struggling with lust, masturbation, pornography, sexual addictions, and unwanted same-sex attractions.  WHY and What does this have to do with HIV one may ask?  Because we want to enlighten and empower people to be free by uncovering the spiritual seed of the issue and not just talk about the what’s wrong but offer hope to the person that has become a prisoner to their passions.  This hope is found in the Lord Jesus Christ who liberates and makes people really and unquestionably FREE without a trace (John 8:36 AMP).

 James 1:13-15 MSG

“Don’t let anyone under pressure to give in to evil say, “God is trying to trip me up.” God is impervious to evil, and puts evil in no one’s way. The temptation to give in to evil comes from us and only us. We have no one to blame but the leering, seducing flare-up of our own lust. Lust gets pregnant, and has a baby: sin! Sin grows up to adulthood, and becomes a real killer.

If you or someone you know feels trapped or hopeless then you’ve stopped by the right place today.  Click Here for a Prayer with a Purpose and receive your freedom as Minister Eugene Blakely prays for Purification of The Heart.  What does the heart have to do with your healing?  Take a look at what Jesus had to say about the heart.

Matthew 15:18-20 (MSG)

Jesus replied, “You, too? Are you being willfully stupid? Don’t you know that anything that is swallowed works its way through the intestines and is finally defecated? But what comes out of the mouth gets its start in the heart. It’s from the heart that we vomit up evil arguments (reasonings and designs), murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, lies, and cussing. That’s what pollutes. Eating or not eating certain foods, washing or not washing your hands—that’s neither here nor there.”

Elder Gary and Apostle Tina McCrea know first hand that it is not the end for a person diagnosed with HIV (See his testimony under the Breaking Free tab of www.withoutatraceministries.com).  This is ultimately why we are sharing compassionately without compromise these principles of freedom.  Join the movement and share hope with someone today!

Prayer With A Purpose – “Praying & Seeking Christ In The Psalms”

Mar 31, 2015   //   by Tina McCrea   //   Blog  //  Comments Off on Prayer With A Purpose – “Praying & Seeking Christ In The Psalms”

In preparing for the month, I was searching for images that I thought would be fitting for different events and came across this one:

Praying_the_Psalms

It hit me that this was the next purposeful direction that we will be taking in prayer.  As I begin to look into this further I found an article written by  Bill Gaultiere on the subject.  I also found another article written by Jason Hood who speak about how we can preach Jesus through the Psalms.  I will be using a combination of the two to share each week along with whatever the Father gives me to share in prayer.

This week is Holy Week and although you may think the Psalms have nothing to do with the risen savior, I encourage you to click here and listen for yourself.  Don’t cause your fear of hypocrites in church to make you become one this Resurrection Sunday.  Seek out a place to join in with a congregation of true worshipers and sing Psalms of praise to the Messiah!

Prayer With A Purpose for Women & Girls with HIV/AIDS

Mar 10, 2015   //   by Tina McCrea   //   Blog  //  Comments Off on Prayer With A Purpose for Women & Girls with HIV/AIDS

National Women & Girls HIV AIDS Awareness Day

Ruth 2:20 New International Version (NIV)

“The LORD bless him!” Naomi said to her daughter-in-law. “He has not stopped showing his kindness to

the living and the dead.” She added, “That man is our close relative; he is one of our

guardian-redeemers.”

According to Merriam-Webster dictionary a guardian is someone or something that watches or protects something law : someone who takes care of another person or of another person’s property.  The New Combined Bible dictionary and concordance states that a redeemer is one who redeems.

If you are a women or girl with HIV/AIDS, Click here  and learn more and pray about how to allow Jesus Christ to become your guardian-redeemer.  There is a special testimony from Pastor Tina sharing how this same guardian-redeemer impacted her marriage with a man diagnosed with HIV.  The reality of Jesus being our guardian-redeemer is what lead us to adapt John 8:36 AMP as our way of life and ministry Without A Trace.

John 8:36 Amplified Bible (AMP)

“So if the son liberates you [makes you free men] then you are really and unquestionably free.”

Prayer With A Purpose – Revival of Justice

Feb 24, 2015   //   by Tina McCrea   //   Blog  //  Comments Off on Prayer With A Purpose – Revival of Justice

BiblicalLaw-and-Justice

Have you noticed that there has been a rise in the resolution of cold cases?  What about the discovery of that airplane wreckage in Chile that had been missing for over 50 years?  Where there seems to be a great injustice in the earth our God is going to revive us with his justice.  We We seek not to purge evil with guns/knives/or assassinating words but yield to the sanctifying power of God’s Truth and the guidance of his Holy Spirit.

Psalm 119:155-160 The Message (MSG)

 “Salvation” is only gibberish to the wicked
    because they’ve never looked it up in your dictionary.
Your mercies, God, run into the billions;
    following your guidelines, revive me.
My antagonists are too many to count,
    but I don’t swerve from the directions you gave.
I took one look at the quitters and was filled with loathing;
    they walked away from your promises so casually!
Take note of how I love what you tell me;
    out of your life of love, prolong my life.
Your words all add up to the sum total: Truth.
    Your righteous decisions are eternal.

This is the topic of our prayer this week.  Join the movement back to intercession and pray with me for justice.
